At Semillas, we learn to see with our hearts!
This month, we celebrate gratitude as the ability to recognize, value, and appreciate what we receive from others and from the world around us. During this time, the children will:
- Identify people and things for which they feel grateful
- Understand that many of the things they enjoy come from the care and effort of others
- Express gratitude through words, gestures, and meaningful actions
- Participate in activities that encourage sharing and appreciating what they have
At Semillas, we believe gratitude goes beyond simply saying “thank you.” It is a way of seeing the world with appreciation and awareness, recognizing what we have and valuing the people around us.
Children will develop the ability to value what they receive, strengthen their connections with others, and begin building a genuine attitude of appreciation for the world around them.

Hugs and kind words fill our hearts with joy.
We learn to smile as a way of saying thank you.
Virtue Goals
Give thanks before and after every meal; create a gratitude box and add something to it each day; thank Mom when getting dressed for having clean clothes.
