At Semillas, we close out the school year by giving our very best!
This month, we celebrate excellence as the ability to do things with dedication, care, and effort while always striving to improve. During this time, the children will:
- • Work to complete activities with attention and care for detail
- • Recognize the progress they have made throughout the year
- • Practice finishing what they start and giving their best effort each time
- • Celebrate their personal achievements without needing to compare themselves with others
At Semillas, we believe excellence does not mean being perfect; it means being committed to your own growth. When children understand that they can improve through practice and dedication, they develop confidence and pride in their work.
Each child will recognize their growth, value their effort, and complete the school year with a sense of achievement, confidence, and motivation to keep learning.
Moment of Faith
The Virgin Mary
Gospel of John, chapter 19, verses 26–27. In this passage, as Jesus is on the cross, He says to His mother, Mary: “Woman, here is your son,” and then says to the disciple John: “Here is your mother.” From that time on, John took Mary into his home.
Virtue of the Month
Excellence
“My Effort Helps Me Achieve Great Goals!”
Virtue Goal
Ask for things politely by saying “please,” and remember to say “thank you.”
