Welcome to Semillas!
This month, we celebrate the joy of a new beginning and the excitement of discovering our community. During these first weeks, our students will:
- Meet their teachers and make new friends.
- Explore their new school environment.
- Learn their first classroom routines.
- Build a sense of security and belonging within our community.
At Semillas, we believe that an environment filled with love, order, and joy allows children to truly flourish. Step by step, they will develop independence, curiosity, and confidence.

This first month, we aim to ensure every child feels loved, safe, and excited to come to school every day.
Moments of Faith
Who is God? – God is the Creator
Throughout August, children will discover God as the Creator of everything around us. We want our little ones to experience God’s presence in their daily lives—finding Him in the beauty of the sky, the flowers, the animals, and through acts of love between people.
By recognizing God in the world around them, they begin to feel His closeness and warmth in every moment.

Joy
The Power of a Smile
Joy is a beautiful, contagious emotion. When we smile, we help others feel safe, loved, and happy. At Semillas, we will learn how a simple smile can brighten someone’s day. Children will discover that joy is shared through simple gestures like saying thank you, helping others, or giving a hug.
Virtue Goals
This month, we will practice spreading joy through these small actions:
- Saying "thank you" with a big smile.
- Helping a friend or family member to make them smile.
- Giving three hugs to people who make us feel happy.
- Reflecting before bed by sharing three things that made us happy during the day.
